How to use
How to use the resource browser
1. Find resources
Search by resource name, class or planet. The initial search requires at least two characters. Use Load all resources to browse without a search. Results load one page at a time; use the pagination controls to continue browsing.
2. View as your crafting profession
Select a profession in View as to show resources whose classes match resource ingredients in that profession's schematics, and hide statistics it does not use. This includes optional resource ingredients. Use Only Premium to narrow the results to Premium resources for the selected profession.
Combine the search with category and quality tier filters. Reset filters clears these controls; the category or resource scope opened through a navigation link still applies.
3. Read a resource
Click the resource name to open its datasheet. Hover over a planet image to see its name. Details opens the resource overview and statistics; Detailed columns shows additional columns in the table.
ACTIVE means the resource is still spawning; DEPLETED means it is no longer spawning. In Approx. deadline, the blue part of the bar represents elapsed time since spawn and the dark part represents the estimated remaining time. Both values appear below the bar and in its tooltip. An exceeded estimate does not mean the resource has depleted. If the necessary dates or estimate are missing, the available information is shown without a bar.
4. Compare resources
Click Compare on up to four resources, then open the Compare tab. Your selection stays while changing result pages or filters. Use Only differences to focus on values that differ, or remove resources from the selection to compare others.
5. Save resources in My inventory
Click Add to My inventory in a resource row to save it without leaving the list. The button changes to In My inventory once saved. An Authorized player account can save up to 100 resources. Saved resources remain in your inventory after depletion.
Open My inventory to load your saved resources, filter them by class, inspect their attributes or remove them. Its resource picker offers resources from the current results page. The View as selector is shared with the Resources tab and chooses the profession used by Compatible schematics; it does not remove saved resources.
6. Find compatible schematics
Select a profession in View as, then click Compatible schematics on a resource in the list or My inventory. A profession is required. Matches are based on the resource classes accepted by that profession's schematic ingredients. Minimum-quality requirements are shown separately and may need verification.
Use Search schematic, Category and Only with quality weights to narrow the complete result set, not just the current page. Clear filters resets the modal filters. On mobile, open Filters and sorting to reveal the controls; they start collapsed to leave room for results.
Open a schematic card to inspect its matching ingredients and properties. Expand all and Collapse all affect the current page. Properties without weights in either calculation are hidden; missing statistics remain marked as unknown.
Assembly score and Experimentation score are weighted material statistics on a 0–1000 scale. Colors indicate absolute scores: green from 900, lime from 750, amber from 500 and soft red below 500. They are not Premium grades or guaranteed crafting outcomes. Weights (%) shows each statistic's contribution and its class limits when available. The class percentage compares the score with the weighted maximum from the resource's class.
To rank results, choose Assembly or Experimentation under Order by, then select a Property to compare. Highest absolute scores appear first; unavailable or ambiguous scores appear last. Minimum score (0–1000) filters that property and excludes uncalculable scores. The selected property is highlighted in expanded cards.
7. Compare crafting configurations A and B
Inside a schematic card, click Compare crafting resources (A / B) to open Crafting Preview in the same tab. It loads resources from My inventory. Assign a compatible resource to each ingredient in configuration A and B using the selectors, dragging a resource card onto a slot, or selecting a card and then tapping an Assign button. Compatible destinations are highlighted; incompatible assignments are rejected. A resource can be used in more than one slot.
Each assigned slot shows the resource name and class image. Attribute markers follow the inventory quality convention. Compare the per-ingredient Assembly and Experimentation scores and their numerical differences. The material summary adds quantities when the same resource is assigned to several ingredients and identifies pending ingredients and requirements to review. These are required quantities, not a check of your available stock.
The object preview shows schematic properties and provisional Assembly estimates A/B. The model averages resource statistics by ingredient quantity, applies Assembly weights, and maps the resulting score linearly into the property's defined range: minimum + (score / 1000) × (maximum − minimum). Optional resources contribute only when assigned. Missing required resources, statistics, ranges or unsimulated required components leave the estimate pending.
These estimates are not confirmed Nexus crafting formulas. Skills, tools, component effects, experimentation and randomness are not simulated, and minimum-quality eligibility is not verified. A positive numerical difference does not necessarily mean a better item: some properties favor lower values.
Use Copy A → B as a starting point for changing one resource, or Clear configurations to start again. Save A / B in this browser stores one pair per schematic locally; it is not synced to your account. Restore saved A / B skips resources or ingredients that are no longer available or compatible. Clearing the current selections does not delete the saved pair; use Delete saved A / B for that.
8. Community and resource locations
Use Report location to report where a resource can be found. The Community tab provides access to reported locations and available activity.
Move between tabs
The tabs remain visible while scrolling. On narrow screens, scroll the tab bar sideways to reach more tabs. With a tab focused, use the left and right arrow keys to switch tabs, or Home and End to reach the first and last tab.
