P50 [50th percentile (Median)]:
When P50 appears, represents the median of a data set. It is the exact center point that divides the previously ordered data set into two equal halves: the 50% of the values is below this value and the remaining 50% above. If the data distribution is perfectly symmetrical (like a Gaussian bell), the P50 and the mean will be equal. However, if your data has outliers or is skewed, the P50 will show you the actual midpoint, while the mean will give you the arithmetic average.
